Our standard 13oz scrim vinyl is printed with UV-cured inks that resist fading, then hemmed on all sides and finished with brass grommets every two feet so it hangs flat and does not tear. Choose 18oz vinyl for heavy-duty outdoor use, or mesh vinyl for fences and windy locations. Any size up to 10 feet wide, seamless.

Choosing the right banner material
13oz scrim vinyl is the right choice for most jobs: storefront banners, grand openings, sales, events and trade shows. It is tough, waterproof and prints with sharp colour. 18oz vinyl is thicker and stiffer, suited to banners that will hang for a year or more on a building or fence in full sun.
Mesh vinyl has tiny holes that let wind pass through, which makes it the safe choice for fence-mounted banners, construction sites and anywhere exposed to strong wind. It prints slightly softer than solid vinyl but stays put in weather that would tear a solid banner or bend the posts.
How big should a banner be?
A good rule of thumb: 1 inch of letter height for every 10 feet of viewing distance. A banner read from across a parking lot (about 100 feet) needs letters around 10 inches tall, which means a 3-foot-high banner with two or three lines of text. For a banner read from a busy road, go bigger and simpler: one message, huge letters, high contrast.

Mounting and finishing options
Grommets every 24 inches are standard and work with zip ties, rope or bungee cords. Pole pockets (top and/or bottom) let you slide a pipe through for a clean hang from a ceiling or between posts. Wind slits reduce sail effect on solid vinyl. We can also add velcro for banner stands and reinforced corners for high-stress hangs.

Setting up your artwork
- Design at full size, or at 25% / 50% scale with proportional dimensions, at 100–150 dpi at full size.
- Add 1" bleed if the design runs to the edge; keep text at least 2" from the edges where the hem and grommets sit.
- Use high contrast: dark text on a light background or the reverse. Avoid thin fonts.
- Vector logos (AI, EPS, PDF) scale cleanly; a small JPG logo will look soft at banner size.
- Send a rough layout and dimensions and we will build the file for you if needed.

How long will a vinyl banner last outdoors?
13oz vinyl typically lasts 2–3 years outdoors in the Sacramento climate; 18oz lasts longer. Bringing banners in during storms and storing them rolled, not folded, extends their life.
Can you print a banner the same day?
Usually yes on standard sizes if the file is print-ready and we have capacity. Call us in the morning to confirm.
Are hems and grommets included in the price?
Yes. Every banner is hemmed on all sides with grommets every two feet at no extra cost. Pole pockets, wind slits and double-sided printing are quoted as options.
What is the largest banner you can print?
Up to 10 feet wide without seams and any length. Larger banners can be produced with a welded seam.
Do you install banners?
